Medium Square Box Medium Square Box Large Rectangular Box

Small Box

Difficulty - Easy

Materials

  • Gold wrapping paper
  • 2 ½ inch wide, bronze or gold sheer wired ribbon with gold accents
    and trim
  • 1 large bronze poinsettia flower with gold glitter accents, stem
    removed (holiday flowers)

Instructions

  1. Wrap a box in gold wrapping paper.

  2. Cut a piece of the gold sheer ribbon long enough to wrap around the box three and a half times.
Note: Ribbon measurements for bows are approximate. The lengths may have to be adjusted slightly based on the size of the box used.

  3. Centering the ribbon on the bottom of the box, bring the both sides of the ribbon to the center top of the box and tie in a knot.

  4. Using the ends, tie a bow the same way shoelaces are tied and so that the right side of the pattern is facing out. Adjust the loops so they are even with each other.

  5. Trim the ends to matching lengths, cutting them into a V shape.

  6. Trim the outer petals of the poinsettia if needed so that it does not overpower the size of the box. If the flower comes in sections, just eliminate the bottom section to decrease the size of the flower.

  7. Glue the large fabric flower onto the center of the box.

Difficulty - Medium
This design is best suited for a square box

Materials

  • Gold wrapping paper
  • 2 ½ inch wide, bronze or gold sheer wired ribbon with gold accents
    and trim
  • 1 large amber poinsettia flower with gold accents, stem removed
    (holiday flowers)

Instructions

  1. Wrap a box in gold wrapping paper.

  2. Cut a piece of the gold sheer ribbon long enough to wrap around the box four times plus 20 inches.
Note: Ribbon measurements for bows are approximate. The lengths may have to be adjusted slightly based on the size of the box used.

  3. Centering the ribbon on the bottom of the box, bring the both sides of the ribbon to the center top of the box and tie in a knot.

  4. Using the ends, tie a bow on one side of the box the same way shoelaces are tied. Adjust the loops so they are even with each other.

  5. With the remaining length of the ends, tie another bow on the opposite side of the box to create a 4 loop bow, adjusting all loops so they are even with each other and have a open form.

  6. Trim the ends to matching lengths, cutting them into a V and bending them to form a nice shape. Keep the tails long so they will flow over the side of the box.

  7. Trim the outer petals of the poinsettia if needed so that it does not overpower the size of the box. If the flower comes in sections, just eliminate the bottom section to decrease the size of the flower.
